This is me!
I am a budding UX/UI Designer Certified by Springboard India, and an empathist. As an aspiring designer, I work on designing a seamless user experience through problem-solving techniques keeping the user's needs and frustrations at their core.
I hail from a defense background, I studied in various Airforce schools located in different parts of the county including Srinagar during Kargil operations. This opportunity exposed me to follow a disciplined life to achieve my endeavor.
I graduated from Madras Christian College, Chennai with a bachelor's in BBA.
I enjoy organizing events and interacting with people also giving back to the society for which I volunteered for an NGO called Guardians of Dreams, incubated by IIM Bangalore they are a child care organization.
I worked as a Team lead at Timelinks a franchise of Titan Company Ltd in Chennai. At work, I was exposed to a number of activities like organizing customer engagement events, ATL and BTL activities, on the other hand, I was also exposed to areas that were out of my comfort zone one such activity was to design artworks for campaigns and organizing events. Having no prior knowledge on designing, that's when I had to learn designing by myself, with the help of a popular designing tool Canva I designed e-cards, posters, newsletters, etc. As I gradually started designing content that was appreciated by my colleagues, this motivated me to learn about designing through platforms like Youtube, Medium, and Quora. I utilized the quarantine period to learn about UX UI designing and read about the industry and had the opportunity to interact with a few of my friends who are designers. I gained insights from these sources, the concept of Empathy which I learned of managing retail stores where one of the areas I was working on was to train staffs to be empathetic to customers to provide solutions to customer’s issues inspired me to learn more about UX and UI where I could provide solutions to users digitally with the help of UX and UI skills.
I’m currently a certified UX/UI Designer from Springboard, India and I’m looking forward to getting into UX/UI Designer.
This is me!
My first UX/UI project which helps people to make a mindful decision in choosing a dog breed. The reason I choose this topic was that most of them while choosing a Dog breed don't do research and take into consideration lifelong commitment and other important factors before choosing a dog breed. Over the years this leads to abandonment, affects the health of the dog and can also be fatal to the dog.
Imagine moving to a new city and starting afresh, it can be challenging. I wanted to solve the problem of making new friends and increasing the number of attendees to an event. This was a challenging and an interesting assignment I enjoyed solving the problem both in one app.
Everyone would love to personalize their new home with decors but would be confused as to what to get and not sure of how it would look. I designed a platform with help you decorate your house virtually and get things based on how they like their house.
